Mary Walters, DC, CVCP
Dr. Mary’s first encounter with a chiropractor was when she was a young teenager, and as all young girls, she was self conscience of her appearance. When she looked in the mirror she appeared crooked, her one hip was higher than the other as well as the hem on one pant leg was higher than the other, and along with that came some pain. Her parents took her to an orthopedic physician who told them that there wasn’t much they could do since most of her growing was completed. Dissatisfied with that answer they went to a local chiropractor where she had her first spinal adjustment. After several adjustments her posture had improved. At that point she experienced less pain and had gained confidence in her overall appearance.
Dr. Mary’s education started as a dental hygienist. Working as a hygienist she would experience frequent back pain from the postural stress. Based on her own positive experience and wanting to share that with others, she pursued chiropractic as a way of life. Dr. Mary received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Pennsylvania College of Straight Chiropractic in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Mary is also certified by the International Associate of Veterinary Chiropractitioners and successfully completed all requirements for accreditation as a Certified Veterinary Chiropractitioner (CVCP).
